Homemade sweet corn recipe.

Sweet corns have high sugar content which is considered a variety of maize. Sweet corn is mostly used as vegetables than as grains. Sweet corn can also be consumed raw because of its soft and tastier sugar content. Sweet corn with potato stuff is the best recipe that can be served as an evening snack for children. They would literally enjoy their evening also this is a snack with a high protein content of 3.2gm.


Ingredients:

  1. Rava
  2. Sweetcorn
  3. Potato
  4. Cheese
  5. Onion
  6. Curd
  7. Chilli
  8. Spice mixture
  9. turmeric powder
  10. Cumin
  11. Salt
  12. Oil
  13. Coriander

Methods of processing:

Process 1:
1. Take 1 cup of rava in a bowl.
2. Add 1/2 cup of curd.
3. Add 1/2 cup of water.
4. Mix it well until it becomes little soft.
5. Rest the mixture for about 1 hour.

Process 2:

1. Take 1 table spoon of oil in a pan.

2. Add 1/4 tablespoon of cumin with 2 onions chopped into pieces, add some salt as per your need. Let it cook until the onion turns golden yellow.

3. Add 1/4 table spoon of chili powder, 1/4 table spoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 table spoon of spice mixture.

4. Add 1 cup of peeled sweet corn and stir it well.

5. Add 50g of cheese.

6. Boil 3 potatoes and smash them into paste. Add the potato and mix it well until potato gets cooked.

7. Add coriander leaves as toppings and leave the mixture for 2-3 mins.

Process 3 :

  1. Take the rava batter and make it like a pancake but half cooked
  2. Then add the stuff inside the pancake and close it as if no gaps are found.
  3. Add few drops of oil and pan fry the rava stuff until it gets fried.

Now the snack is ready to be served. Enjoy !
